Calgary is under a boil water advisory after a water main break on Monday, June 6. The city said the advisory is in effect for the entire city, including all communities and businesses.
The city said the break occurred on a major water main in the southeast community of Cranston. Crews are working around the clock to repair the main, but the city said it could take several days to complete the repairs.
In the meantime, the city is asking residents to boil all water before drinking it or using it to cook. The city said it will provide updates on the situation as they become available.
